True love is 100% unconditional. If you can think of the person that you 'love' and reasons come to mind, it's not love. It should more properly be termed enfatuation or lust- a physical desire that you have for a trait that that person has. As for some misconceptions people have:

Hot bowl of bullshit #1:People who love you won't make you cry.
Truth is: people are people and any time emotions become involved, our feelings may get hurt, regardless of how much or how little we love each other

Hot bowl #2: If someone loves you, they love you as you are and dont wish you to change.
Truth is: it is true that if someone actually loves you, they love you unconditionally. but this love, when true, is hurt by the others' destructive qualities and practices. this will push them, out of love, to be critical. if a person is critical of detrimental qualities in you or harmful things that you do, it is often a sign that that person truly cares for or loves you. if they didn't, they wouldn't speak on it.

Finally people say: If someone loves you, they wouldnt desire anyone else.
Truth is: lust can overcome anyone. it overcame our Father Adam in heaven even though he loved God. its a weakness that we all have.
