I think you should be atleast 20+ to have a kid. It's crazy to have a kid at 16, 17, etc. That's their choice though. I just find it crazy because they're still young. And don't have kids if you don't have the money to actually take care of them. Make sure you're stable money wise to have one so you're not struggling. Ya know. But if it happens then it happens. Can't really be 100% sure you're not gonna have one unless you don't have sex. I don't see anything wrong with mixed kids though. My fiance's white. Haha. And he wants kids right now but I'm only 22... not really ready for it yet. Even though we're good to have a kid because we've got jobs that pay a lot, I just dont want one right now. But I wish you the best on having the kid. Hope everything goes well. :D

i love kids i got a daughter myself shes my everything they can be a pain in the ass sometimes but you cant stay made at them cause they mad cute....but kids are what keep some people going when they feel like giving up in life....so if you ready do it if not then chill but if you do make sure ur finacially stable aight....that what i think about having kids

I think there really is no right age...the right age is whenever the person is ready!! And as long as its the right person, and u have money to support the kid its koo. I think mixed babies are ok!! I mean i a mutt! im puerto rican (50%), cuban (25%), and black(25%)!! but i hope everything goes well for you!!

Well, I always say that the best time to have a child is when the couple is ready. Age or race shouldn't really play a factor in the situation. It should really depends on whether the couple is willing to take responsibity is raising a child.

I agree with some. There's no set age to have a kid, but on an average 21+ is good if your planning. Maturity plays a huge part. People mature differently, some quicker than others. The ladies seem to mature a little quicker where kids are concerned, before and after they have them. But I think the biggest downfall to having kids is pplz who start having them w/out being emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially secure. Kids themselves are not in themselves expensive, but taking care of them is. I don't have any of my own, but I have 2 Godchildren who mightest wellz be mine.
If you have a good feel for who you are, and where you wanna go with your life, then you probable have a good idea on what it takes to plan for the future, and if you have kids or about to have some, planning is vital...

Congratulations! Kids are great especially when they are yours. You will see. You will be so crazy about that baby that it will be all you think about. Age doesnt matter either I think as long as you can provide not only financially but also give alot of time and show lots of love. Be good to ya gurl right now cuz she needs that. :)

I think that the average age to have a kid is 21+...there is nothin wrong with having a baby now but you have be sure that you can maintain the baby..the baby should also grow up in a good in enviornment...like having both parents i know that in some cases both parents can't be together but they should try to have some type of relationship that is healthy for both the baby and themselves...Even as friends I think that as long as they are there for the child than that says a lot...I've seen many cases in which the child grows up uncomprehended because of what went on in his family when he was younger..I want to have children someday just not now because I'm thinking of their future...I want to get a good job....After I finish college, it is certain that I'll start to think of a family....But I want to be prepared first before having a baby.

I think that if you are financially stable, psychologically stable, and your partner is also then I think that you are set to have a child and bring life into this world!
But, if you are worried I think you should first talk with some people who have kids and try taking care of their kids for a day and see if you can handle it!
I have 8 neices and 3 baby sisters and they range from 11 yrs. old to 2 yrs. old, and I know that at this point in my life I can't handle kids psychologically cause I am still a kid myself!

I hate kids and I'm never going to have any. But that doesn't mean I hate people who have or who want kids. And it all depends how mature the person is to have kids. Mixed babies are beautiful though.

Amenn... I agreeee even tho i dun have kids pero its a real good point. I bet u nuttin compares to havin a son or daughter... nd ders no rite time, when they come they come, but preferably 20+... das jus wat i think.

well im 19 and have a 7 month old..... u know i never thought of myself as the one to have kids at a young age.... but now that i do i wouldnt trade it for the world....there's no feeling better in this world then knowing that your son/daughter is relyin on you to provide both emotionally and financially... i just thrive on the pressure.... and i know that as long as i keep God first in my life then He will ultimately provide whatever is nessecery as long as i put effort in..... i wouldnt change my life situation for anyone else's. You just have to be mature and willing to step up to the plate and do whatever it takes to provide for the child... Children are God's gift to all humans....

I think As long as you able to support a child, then u should have one...I been Thru an experience with my best friend who gave my god-daughter Birth...And she struggles...She gave birth when she was 17...She finshed school and everything...The baby dad still there too...But then u also gotta think about...What if u wanna do something...Then u gotta always think about a babysitter and everything..>And U can't just trust ya child with neone...Therefore...I believe..that When u know U ready (money-shelter-protection..etc... for the child) Then maybe....

and well she white .. but im cool with it tho
but i aint got no kids so its wierd but i am 23 tho

i think its whenever ur ready financially and mentally. a lot of these teen girls arent ready for kids, but i do know some who have made it and take better care of there babies then older ppl do. and the thing about mixed babies...tahts cool to. my sister is italian and she's 17 and she 3 months preg with her rican man. as long as ur ready for a baby its all good

i'm questioning whether or not having children is morally right, the earth is running out of resources, so i am not sure if i would want to put my children through that, i'd assume war, a war in which we fight over resources

I say the best age to have a child is when u have a job and ur own place..as for age...that's really not too much of a factor b/c there's alot of young moms that are holding it down for their kids and women have a tendency to mature a lil faster given harsh conditions if u think history wise there were girls at 14 yrs old married with probably 3 kids...if they could make it back then i think anyone can as long as they are mentally stable. I'm 22 yrs old and my son's about to be 1 yr old soon and i wouldn't take him away for the world i was ready for him...and im loving every minute. i say its a two party deal also if the girl gets pregnant and is upset b/c her man got her pregnant the smart thing is to use a condom or just not open them legs up. Plain out. I want another baby but i say in another 2/3 yrs

Still say, Men u don't want ur girl pregnant don't do her raw...especially if its a one night stand....U can get pregnant from having sex one time busting one nut all it takes is one good time and one good nut remember that....think with the right head. not the one that wakes up before u do in the morning! lol
