I liked the movie I forget what exactly what its called"i think its american me" but it was from the 90s and it was about chollos essays vatos n shit

Yeah, but hispanic is a race, but not meaning ethnicity (not the same thing), so it really refers to a social group or class of people relating to their culture and not anything else!
In shorter words, it is a way for social scientist to categorize us(the Spanish speaking culture)
Take some sociology classes and you'll understand! :p

dont know about you but i can understand portugues, and speak it very good. does it makes me brazilian? no right?. people that speak gallego and catalan ara not considered hispanics?
