Ok i LOVE to watch horror/scary movies. My fave is the living dead trio. By George A Romero. Which includes Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead ( The Origial ) , Day of the Dead. These movies OWN! Dawn of the Dead the original was probably my favorite. I have seen it close to 78 times now. I had had this movie for about 8 years now lol. Just as good as the first time i seen it. George just had such an interesting concept on zombies/living dead. Such a great take on how the public would react and everything. His movies are used as guidlines for the new generation of zombie/living dead movies. This man was a GENIUS!
Anyways, what was everyone elses?

You like EXACTLY the same type of stuff i like! Child's Play creeped the HELL out of me as a kid. Plus after seeing that my dad bought my brother a my buddy doll and said he was going to go take it out of the package... next thing we see is chucky coming around the corner with a knife calling my brothers name. Needless to say that doll stayed in the garage the remainer of it's time with us LOL. Never came into the house ONCE. Waste of money lol.

lol... when I saw Child's Play as a kid I made my parents take out all the dolls from my bedroom because I seriously thought they were gonna kill me. And I had a LOT of dolls. And I had the "kid sister" girl version of the my buddy doll and for years after I always looked at it and thought of Chucky.

Saw is good. Kept me guessing towards the end, and it was very different. Thinking it was one person, and turns out to be somebody else. That's clever. :)
Child's Play is good. The newer ones, sadly, are more with a comic twist, then horror. That's in my opinion.

i absolutely agree with you on the new ones, sucks that they don't have the same feel as the old ones, oh well. i guess the child will go on.. and they are dragging this out WAY longer than it should have of been! Just to make a few more bucks. It is almost as pathetic as Monsters Inc. coming out and then it comes out AGAIN like 3 months later with " 15 minutes of out takes" WTF! there is no out takes in a cartoon! jeez! and yes i saw the one with the oput takes they just did a few more animations and made MILLIONS MORE! clever idea to rip off people though lol.

Personally i think the scariest movies are the living dead movies. No doubt. It's just the whole situation that would be scary. Imagine the dead coming back. Imagine the mayhem, slaughter, and death. Imagine whether or not you would be able to make it. What about your family? Your friends? What would you do in that situation. I would be pretty fucked up in that situation. Not sure what i would do if that ever happened.

Horror, to me, is like the "Element of suprise"
The moveing of the camera and the music, lead to the "jump-effect"
A good one, will do that. Constantly.

You're all pussies. None of these movies scared me. The only nightmares I had was dreaming about how unscary and how shitty MOST of them were. I however, like the Chainsaw Massacre, Dawn Of The Living Dead (both old and new versions), Night Of The Living Dead. Though this is not really scary at all, it is one of the best "horror movies" ever and that movie is the Evil Dead Series. If you don't like this movie, I suggest GETTING YOUR FACED BASHED IN WITH A RUSTY CLEVER NUMBSKULLS.

SAW the movie sucked ass. It was SLOW, PREDICTABLE and lame. Lame lines. Lame action. Lame actors. Lame robot. Boring fucking movie. Horror movies these days suck ass. Its all about a bunch of drunk teenagers in a forest, going on some type of journey or road trip, then they boogly-woogly monster comes out and haunts them one by one. Please. Or its some really fucking boring, slow, "MYSTERY" movie. Whatever.

Also Re-animator, Blood Sucking Freaks, Basket Case, Rosemarys Baby, Cannibal Holocaust, Wizard of Gore, John Carpenters The Thing.. all the old cheezy snuff shit is ill.
FUCK that Texas Chainsaw remake. It literally made me ANGRY to watch it.
The only redeemable thing is the cinematography, the movie LOOKS really nice, but thats IT.
All the new stuff and new plot twists just aggravated the hell out of me, the helpful little deformed kid and shit.
Oh, and her saving that baby at the end? GAY
Fuck that shits, son.

The Evil Dead Series is my all-time favorite
Others I wouldn't mind watching again is The Exorcist, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1973 Original), Carrie, House on Haunted Hill (1950's Original), Fright Night, and some other stuff that I can't remember right now........
