I am trying to bulk up, and gain some more muscle mass. I know in order to do that, you must eat the proper foods, and amount, and of course lift heavy weights.
I know you need to have the proper proteins and all that shit but here's what bugs me out.
I know 3 friends of mine who went to jail (they were more my uncles friends, but still a friend of the family). I'll call them 1, 2 and 3 guy. Guy number 1 and 3 were in jail for 10 years. Guy number 2 for 4 years.
Like you guessed when they came out of jail, they were HUGE! They were in the best shape of their lives, and looked really fucking good.
Guy number 2 gained at least 50lbs of muscle, and guy number 1 and 3 had gained more. Don't know how much more. But more than 50lbs. A lot more.
Of course, they didn't have much to do in jail except for excercise. But to cut to the chase, what sparked me is how much muscle they gained without the proper proteins, nutrients and all that shit.
Most the time, you would hear people say eat this and eat that, and I am NOT saying that having a proper diet doesn't help, because it certainly does.
But does it have to be THAT extreme? My friends said the only meals they had were small 3 meals a day that consisted mostly of bread, pasta, fruit, and then at night like a Ding-Dong cake snack that they would get from other inmates and what not. The meals were never anything high in proteins, or essential nutrients.
These guys never took any kind of supplements but had such great size. All they really did was take the food needed and lift heavy weights. Of course with aesthetics and all.
I noticed the same thing with tribes in Africa. Some of those guys don't have any kind of supplements or don't eat nearly as much as fat Americans, but they have tremendous builds.
I have some other friends of mine who don't have the finance to buy enough food for themselves, but also have really bulked up tremendously.
Now, I'm not doubting the power of a good and proper diet, but do we have to go to THAT extreme of eating 7-8 meals a day to bulk up? Do we really have to count every calorie, protein grams, etc.?
Are is it more dedication to working out? Is it more dedication on focusing on getting bigger, stronger, faster?
You tell me. Give me your thoughts and opinions.
