nah he deserved the sixth man award...in my view its a better award because he beat out all the other VETERENS for that award...the Rookie of the year is not that much...

MVP should have been Iverson without a doubt. League leading scorer. First player in history to score 32 points and have 16+ assist in a playoff game.He was basically carrying his Team by himself. Iverson goddamitt!!!!!!!!!!!

COSIGN. omg i totally agree. AI has done what no other player has done before, hes carried a struggling team on his shoulders and avged 50 points in multiple games. not only that, but he hustles even if hes just 6 ft. not to mention hes pbly the best clutch player ever

WOW Dont know about greatest clutch player ...... Jerry West, Reggie Miller, Michael Jordan, But he definately deserves this years MVP award. He dint average 50 points multiple times because n average is all the games put together he did have a couple of 50 plus games though. I understand what ur trying to say but putting him with the greatest clutch players in insane. Still he is a awsome player.

the right person won the MVP award simple as that, he took a lottery team to the best record in the whole NBA in ONE year,
shaq-the heat were already a playoff team
ai-the sixers were already a playoff team
the suns hadnt won crap since barkley was there until nash got there so the vote was right
as for rookie of the year ben gordon didnt deserve it he wasnt even a starter on his team
okafar was the franchise player of an EXPANSION TEAM he did what he was expected to do, nothing really great about what he averaged or did those numbers are to be expected of the #1 player selected on an expansion team
Dwight Howard on the other hand was playing on a team with TWO all-stars(francis and hill) and still managed to put up better numbers than gordon or okafor
now for the 6th man if they were going to give it to gordon, they should have made it a co-award with EARL BOYKINS, gordon was hurt alot of the year while earl was there every game bringin heat off the bench and he's also the smallest man in the league puttin up big numbers, i think early should have atleast got a peice of that crown
sorry for the essay but im bored and have nothing else to write about
