Smith Machine?

should i get one? my uncle says i should, but i found that i can lift a lot more on this than when i do the same excercise with a free barbell, making me think that maybe it doesnt give a real workout. So does it really work to help you get stronger? :sarb: If no then what do you recomend i get myself. Note that i cant go to the gym cuz my mom wont let me :mad: and i dont have any1 to spot me at home.

Better off getting the bowflex if your planning to stay at home and train.
