i think it's still around, but not as much as people talk about it, i.e. black people crediting the reason to them getting pulled over to racism. i still believe it exists, but alot has disappeared.

so.. can i get some more views on this?

exactly... of course sometimes it is racism. but honestly, if i saw ANY RACE like... in a car all dressed in black outside of somewhere, and i was a cop, i'd suspect something. that happens alot with minorities and they make a big deal outta it, punch a cop, then go to jail 'cause they didn't wanna accept that the cop was just being better safe than sorry.

i thought it was hyped up more... especially since Jay's "99 Problems"... that whole verse 'bout the cop gets on my nerves.

but don't talk about mexicans like that... the reason that like, the illegals stuff in a house the way they do, is because they have to get paid minimum wage everyday. it's not like they can actually elevate in their jobs to higher positions, because they're illegal they have to stay at the same job, same income. consequentially, they're forced to live in houses together to help with the jacked up rent given by the landlord. these landlords will increase prices because they know there's a language barrier there (sometimes), and they'll take advantage of that.

oh, and i live in a city with the top number of hondurans in it in the country.

don't refer to white people as the "people in power". it's not like every white person can do anything they want. in my school, white people get harassed all the time, they don't exclude themselves, they're jus' excluded by the hispanics and blacks. and white supremacy ain't even really a big thing in the midwest, 'cept for some kinda country states, and then in the south. they aren't discriminating themselves, they're being discriminated. which kinda makes me think...

I think that some younger white people(in HighSchool,College,etc.)choose to exclude themselves from the minorities because they probably feel that they won't be accepted by us.That's some.But I also think that some segregate themselves by choice.But yes,I think racism is still around.And I think that in some cases,there is more racism inside one's own group then from other's of opposite cultures.

For the most part....its don't exist...esp where I'm living...Brampton, Ont...(in Canada)...there are always the few ignorant exceptions....but I think with such a culturally diverse place its impossible to be a racist. First off I didn't take it as an insult, I see no differences between us and african americans or any other race for that matter, except for you know who. You talk about living in the present, fact is I am. Im talking about tracing my genetic roots, and I can say with great certainty that my family, for the most part, stayed within their race, its true I may have some black and a little jamiacain blood mixed in, but that was over 200 hundred years ago. its just a theory, but many say that hitler stole the swastika from the hindus, and tried to make a connection between the hindus and white ppl, thus coming up with his theory that indians are white 2. many WP websites state things relating to lighter indians being aryans and being respected more because of skin color.
