Personally race has never been a problem to me. I grew up in Echo Park which is a neighborhood with alot of diversity and different races, and I always was really open in relationships. For myself, I've been with mostly hispanic girls and I've been with alot of different races and I learned alot and enjoyed all of them, I don't discriminate, if a girls cute n gotz a good relationship, dats the most important thing but I gotz a racist dad who thinks asians should only be with asians and it pisses me off cuz everyone shud juz get along regardless of wut color dey are...

But,I find myself dating mostly blacks,Hispanics,and Asians mainly.I find white men attractive(mainly Italians/Sicilians) but interracial relationships are complicated and frowned upon by most of society.Not that I care what society thinks,but I've been in relationships with white guys and believe me,it's not easy.

Yes,guys are guys.But I only say it is harder from personal experience.When you're out in public with someone of a different race,you fall victim to discrimination(whether that be people refusing to serve you at restaraunts or whatever),nasty looks from ignorant people,etc.When you have to experience that everyday,it tends to ruin the relationship with that person.The stress kills it in the end.In my case anywayz.

He didn't understand my culture, my upbringings... my language- Yea, i could've taken the time to educate him, but WDf trust me ppl he wasnt worth it. Well you probably know my stance on this and yes it is a big deal. But personally I wouldn't care if it was any other race, except for white. I myself have been with almost 98% latina, but I have dated one or two sistas (black girls). My sister was with a indian guy for a while and I didn't mind it one bit. It's more than just being in love. A lot of things come into play. Love can't conqeour everything. When two people from difference races get married, 2 families are gettin married. There is different culture, different language, different religion, even different types of food you can or can't eat.

Not eating the same food is the minor thing. The bigger things are religion and language and cultural differences. U can learn the culture of the other person but not too many people will adopt others' religion in the name of love and that makes it even more difficult because the kids would be confused and not raised properly in the religious sense .. lol and the families dont have to be best friends but they should get along :)

I dont think that ther is anything wrong with dating outside ya race. I mean im black and my boyfriend is 100% Puerto Rican and i love him just the same as if i was dating a black dude. We dont treat each other any diffrent and we still love each other. Simply learning a language just to learn a language is not the same as studying your own roots. Do you come from either Russia or France? A little spanish? Yes, that is true because their are couples who come from different cultures that in some cases don't get along. when they decide to take it to the next level, whether it be marrage or just movin in together, usually there are problems either in the way you do things like cooking or the way you dress. For example, my boyfriend is hispanic and, he is really weird about what I wear. If I am showing too much he will get all mad about it and tell me to wear something else, on the other hand my friend is going out with someguy and he is white and he doesn't really care what she wears, where she goes as long as she ain't doin nothing bad. so, yeah it's a 50/50 it may matter but it may not, their are other couple that are not the same cultures and get along perfectly fine.

Personally race has never been a problem to me. I grew up in Echo Park which is a neighborhood with alot of diversity and different races, and I always was really open in relationships. But there is always going to be someone that looks down upon you becuz of you choosing to date outside your race. But through all my relationship i have bonded most with latinos and blacks, becauze they have the most in common with me. But some people when the date outside thier race they don't date to learn about that person's culture, they date them just for curiosity, the thought of actually being with someone just cuz thier that race. anyways, i'm black(west indian) and i've been with my girl(dominican) for 4 yrs now. the good thing about her is that she had the patience to teach me her culture(music, dancing, etc.) and the fact that i showed interest helped and vice versa.

i get shitty looks from latino men when i'm with her and she gets the same looks from black females to, but we could careless because our love doesn't revolve around what society thinks.

It goes so much deeper than just skin color. It ethnic background and genetics. There arent "hispanics that orginate from Erurope or Africa.
