General Amnesty For Those Recently Banned

We've decided that we are going to offer a general amnesty to those who were banned over incidents related to the "other site". We recognize that we could have handled the situation better and in turn would like to apologize to the forum community.

Our primary concern here with the forum is to make sure you guys are enjoying yourself. And, if you guys are enjoying yourself on a different forum, then it means we, at RateHispanic.com, need to do a better job keeping you guys happy (because if you guys were happy here at RH you wouldn't end up defecting).

So far we have unbanned the following users who were banned related to incidents involving the "other site" (let us know if we missed anyone):

El_Yank_Vilo
ijsolid

But, do keep in mind that does not mean we will tolerate spamming of links. If we find these users are spamming links again, then they will have to be banned. We recognize the right of our users to move on to other sites, but we can't have these users spamming other members in a recruitment effort.

We hope that the changes made over the last couple days are a move in the right direction. If there is other stuff you would like to see on here, let me know.

On a personal level, I (and maybe everyone on these forums) should thank texas_playa for starting his website. It was a wakeup call to myself that you guys wanted changes around here. Hopefully, you are seeing the changes you want and hopefully you'll keep getting more positive changes.

because theres no need for things to be so negative around here. we as admins shouldn't try to be cops. we just need to keep things orderly so things aren't overrun, but I think the situation between members and mods/admins has become a bit sour, so we want to do our best to reverse it.

actually, take a look at the home page. theres a lot of users still using the site. but anyway even if you were right, we want to make sure the remaining users are having a good time. thats the main goal.
