Alright , All I've been hearing is that on December 12, 2012 the world is going to end( theirs even a movie coming out called "2012") well at least thats what the Mayans are saying because they stopped making their calenders after that year. Theirs alot of other facts and opinions but its to much to type lol. In my opinion i dont think anything is going to happen .

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I have a feeling I'll be disappointed yet again by predictions of an apocalypse and the world as we know it will continue after 2012.

No, this idiot just needs to hit the science books since he doesn't realize that there's a discrepancy between 2012—the scientific calculation of pole shfits due to a peculiar planetary alignment and, 2012— the spooky little hypothesis made by mayan baseheaded lore that the world will come to an end for some weird reason—which it WON'T. The common mis conception
about the spooky mayan prediction doesn't really claim that the 'world' will end at 2012, but that the world will start a 'new' beginning, or if you're of a morbid cynic, it's going to staple the beginning of the end. But this has nothing to do with the other.. Climate shifts are totally relevant to anything connoted with 2012

Word. I just recently learned that these Olympics don't usually make money for their respective cities. That's why I'm glad Chicago didn't get them. They were said to be in the running for 2016 which ultimately went to Rio. I actually thought they were gonna get them too, not because how everybody in the world views Americans , but because reports coming from everywhere including the Olympic committee insiders had many believe so. And to be the FIRST city eliminated after all that foreplay, let me know, the Olympic committee had an agenda from the jump. To embarrass and fuck over America. Chicago just happen to be in the way of the cum shot that the rest of the World was waiting to release.

Well see who gets the last laugh though. As you implied, cities are going broke. I heard London is around 9 billion over budget. I think it was the mayor of Vancouver who not too far back said the Olympics were a billion dollar boondoggle. I don't know what that means, but I'm pretty sure Blank Generation is gonna either A. move to a different province or B. come to America. Then you got Sydney who went into their tax payers pocket for over a billion. And I think the one that was held in Athens cost tax payers 5 billion.

All luck to Rio though and for it's people. Everything you hear is as if they're talking about life on another planet.

Don't trip. The World ending on 2012 makes about as much sense as Detroit making a bid for the 2020 Olympics. The only way the World ends is if you die before 2012.

Nobody ever said life was fair. Some people do have major strikes against them. Other people have terminal diseases, disfiguring conditions and mental problems. Or they've been sexually abused or are homeless or live with chronic pain or have suffered the death of children and loved ones. They don't give give up, so can you. What better way then with the holiday season coming up to involve yourself in some volunteer work or some sort of charity. You'll meet many people from different walks of life that are FAR WORSE OFF than yourself. In helping them, you'll help yourself. Trust.
